A look at the 2016 annual Truth Festival

The annual Truth Festival was held in downtown Belmont, NC on Saturday, September 24th. The day started off with great music at 11 am and was wrapped up in the evening with a movie in the park. It was a fun and impactful day with perfect weather and filled with music, worship, food, fellowship, prayer, speakers, activities for kids, and free giveaways.

We had an amazing lineup of speakers, ranging from presidents and directors, to missionaries and students. We are so thankful for all of our partners and their willingness to dedicate themselves to this event.

We also had the privilege of hearing several other speakers at the Truth Festival and thank them tremendously for their contribution:

We were blessed to have an array of incredible artists and bands, who used their talents to lead attendees in worship throughout the day:

We gave away several great items throughout the day:

  • 30 hardcover copies of Apologetics Study Bible and Apologetics Study Bible for Students. Donated by B&H Publishing Group.
  • Truth Festival t-shirts. Donated by Global Cross.

Topical Discussion Tents

One of the main purposes of the Truth Festival is to provide an opportunity to answer difficult questions.  Attendees were able to visit topical tents set up throughout the festival, and each of the tents were manned by people educated in the following subjects:

  • The Historic Christian Faith
  • Christianity and Culture
  • What is Truth?

To end an incredible day, attendees and families gathered in the park to watch the documentary Mining for God.
